In this video, we show how the revision plan helps students follow-through on the feedback they receive by giving them concrete actions (rate helpfulness, add to plan, reflect in a note) that allow them to emotionally and intellectually process their feedback. We connect that to growth mindset, grit, and academic buoyancy. Then, we critique those concepts. Finally, we identify ways to encourage students to take ownership of their learning.
